# What happens if one of the coins in a pool loses its peg?

While the exchange rate for tokens in stableswap is pegged, it is possible that some of them become unpegged due to unforeseeable reasons. Market tracks real-time data feeds via reliable price oracles and will halt the trade if significant deviation is detected.
